Steel Blanking plant in Chicago Heights is seeking a detail-oriented, computer literate individual for its Quality Assurance Team. This position requires the ability to read a tape measure, document details, enter information into a computer database, use of Excel spreadsheets, observe operators to be sure they are following procedures, and the comfortability working in a plant environment. At times you will be required to climb on stacks of steel, so you cannot be afraid to get your hands dirty. The perfect personality for this position will not be easily intimidated, and have the ability to clearly communicate detailed problems to the production supervisor. The stronger your computer skills, the more consideration you will be given for this position. We are a union shop, but this position is non-union.
The hours of this position are M-F 3pm-11pm, with occasional weekend overtime. After successful completion of 90 day probation a full comprehensive benefit package will be available. Must be able to pass drug screen and physical. Great opportunity for someone who wishes to find entry level in a Manufacturing Quality career.
