Your Responsibilities:
Position Summary:

The Sr. Commodity Manager possesses broad knowledge of advanced product and process technologies, has insight in multiple industries and has successful experience in managing partner/supplier relationships. This position supports the execution of product innovation process by bringing in required technology, knowledge and capabilities through scouting, sourcing, selecting, contracting (development contract, co-development contract, supply contract) and ensures that the project needs (timing, cost, quality) are met.

The Sr. Commodity Manager will be responsible for sourcing and developing strategy for brush head commodity and OEM/ODM activities for finished goods.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

Purchasing lead during the product innovation process in function creation and prove-out as a project team member
Develops strategies for and manages brush head commodity.
Covers new commodities from innovations, which is in focus on new functions and physical principles. These new commodities might be transferred to other Commodity Managers after completion of the product definition or product release.
Facilitates the Strategic Make or Buy process for finished goods
Manages suppliers to contribute and meet short-term and long-term organizational goals in cost savings, quality, delivery and technology.
Manages and develops commodity buyer to be successful in his/her function
Champions or supports key purchasing processes

Your Profile:
Job Requirements:

Business or Technical degree required (Technical degree and/or advanced degree preferred)
Minimum of 7 years related work experience. 10+ years preferred.
Has demonstrated strong skills in purchasing, supply and project management.
Proven experience to manage strategic relationships
Experience with development of new products
Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and negotiating skills
Ability to organize and prioritize work, and to meet deadlines
Demonstrated success in working within cross-organizational teams
