Looking for candidates with strong OS fundamentals and excellent communication skills, a desire to work on Mac OS X Software Updates and make a difference to the product.

Primary responsibilities are creation and execution of in-depth system-level testing, as well as tool creation for updates to Mac OS X.

Specific Responsibilities:
Work as part of the High Level Integration team for Software Updates, doing user-level and verification testing along with automating test cases and developing tools to expedite testing and team workflow.

The position requires a candidate who pays meticulous attention to detail, is highly organized, and has excellent communication skills.

Required Experience:

• BS/MS EE/CS/CE or equivalent
• New grad to 1-2 years experience in the software industry (including intern experience)
• Familiarity with UNIX
• Strong understanding of operating systems
• Self-motivated and pro-active with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Experience:

• Unix programming/scripting experience
• Practical experience with Mac/Unix development/debugging tools and Apple tools such as Xcode and gdb
• System software release experience

• Experience in development and/or testing of a shipping product
