30 year old entertainment marketing company seeks a Flash ActionScript expert with great design capabilities to work on several ongoing projects immediately. Initial 6 month term with the possibility of transitioning to a staff position. Must be local and work from our offices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Architect, plan and build unique and compelling web-based applications for consumer websites
• Create and maintain Actionscript code with care and finesse
• Utilize object-oriented programming techniques to create elegant, reusable, maintainable code
• Utilize third party libraries to simplify and streamline development
• Interface with both development and design teams to ensure proper integration of design into Flash applications
• Work with the development department to contribute to functional and technical specs to ensure seamless integration with the site

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Team player with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Demonstrable expertise in the following: ActionScript 3, ActionScript 2, Flash, Flex, Interactive Flash Applications
• Experience with the Adobe Photoshop. Illustrator
• Experience with Brightcove or other third-party video platforms is desirable
• Experience working on large-scale web sites is a plus
• Animation and user interface experience is helpful

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Must be at an expert-level with Flash, Flex, and Actionscript
• Must have experience with. NET, SQL, JavaScript, XML, and HTML/CSS experience
• Minimum of 5 years of interactive experience
• Relevant design experience includes rich interactive applications, game development, motion graphics, web development, photography, and print advertising
