Production Technician: WTIC/WTXX - TV is looking for a part-time Production Technician to join the Production staff. Responsibilities: operate studio and remote cameras; perform floor manager duties during live and taped productions; operate teleprompter; operate tape machines for both playback and record; program and operate character generator; assist in set and light of both studio and remote projects. Knowledge of studio lighting techniques desirable. Minimum 1-year studio and/or remote production experience with a broadcast or production facility. M/F/V/D EOE
Responsibilities: Operate studio and remote cameras. Perform floor manager duties during live and taped productions. Operate teleprompter. Operate tape machines for both playback and record. Program and operate character generator. Assist in set and light of both studio and remote projects. Regular maintenance of studio facilities and remote equipment. Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
Requirements: Minimum 1 year studio and/or remote production experience with a broadcast or production facility. Demonstrated ability to perform all responsibilities for both live and taped productions. Knowledge of studio lighting techniques desirable.
