Senior Research Associate - Small Molecule/Immunology
Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Research Associate to work on small molecule drug discovery projects within Immunology. The individual will work within a multi-disciplinary team and will be responsible for characterizing the activity of small molecules on signal transduction pathways and functional read outs in primary immune cells. This position will also be involved in the development of pharmacodynamic markers to support pre-clinical and the early clinical development of compounds.
Requirements .
The candidate must have Master as degree or Ph.D. in Biology with a background in cell biology/immunology. A minimum of five years of industry experience in the development and implementation of quantitative cell based assays in support of small molecule drug discovery is required. Significant experience in flow cytometry and in the purification and characterization of primary immune cells is preferred. Strong teamwork, organizational and written and verbal communication skills along with the flexibility to operate effectively in a fast paced environment are essential.
